Barbara Birkhead

My mother, Mary was a close friend of Barbara´s and I had the pleasure of meeting her several times. She was a joy! She made my mother´s time at the Forest at Duke a wonderful experience.

Barbara was a lovely lady, always busy and helpful, and she adored the Carolina Theatre. Sorry she's gone. Her presence has been missed for a few years, and now we know why. Pretty sure she and my mother (the late Connie Moses) are whooping it up together in the golden hereafter, making plans and being their ebullient wonderful selves.
