Barbara Lou Bouwman

She was a special neighbor of Grace Bible college and often would watch the soccer games from her back yard. I knew her because she was family to me. So sweet kind and fun. I'm Jake and Jennie Bouwman's daughter Shirley Waayenberg. She will be missed. We will meet again some day.

My condolences to the family. I am the niece of Barbara and I remember her from when I was very young. I grew up in Minnesota and specifically remember flying with my dad into Grand Rapids airport for a couple day visit and I remember her being very tall and pretty and there were a lot of cousins. Aunt Barb was my last living Aunt.

I volunteered with Barb at Bibles for Mexico. She was a sweet Christian lady who I enjoyed spending time with there. I will keep you in my prayers during this difficult time. She has just gone Home.
