Hi Liz, I was so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. I did not know her well, but loved her smile and her obvious love of gardening. And she raised a terrific daughter. Condolences to you and your family.

Dear Elizabeth,
I am so sorry to learn of Barbara's passing. So many View Drive memories! Sweet Roy and the dachshunds, the flower gardens and all the vegetables. I always enjoyed volunteering at the library when Barbara was librarian.

My memory is that Barbara and my mother, Gwen Gilbert, were best friends when both resided at Salisbury in Pittsfield. They enjoyed many activities together at Trinity Church in Lenox, serving together on the outreach committee and attending church together for years. During the summer, they would go from church to Tanglewood where they would sit on the lawn together. They also enjoyed just going out together for a cup of coffee.
