APPLE VALLEY, Minn. - "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father's...

Not sure what to say?

I am sad to read the news tonight of Barb's death having just returned home from Good Friday services. She was a dear friend and we kept in touch through the years, always talking on her birthday until the last couple years. What a wonderful teacher! I know the class of 59 learned so much from her. From my seat on the organ bench at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sac City, I can still see in my mind she and Neil in the same pew they always sat. She was a great comfort to me when my Mother...

Until the last year or so I have maintained contact with Barbara, especially at Christmas time. I will miss those personal notes and the contact we maintained.

At one time Carmen Christensen and I drove to Forest City and visited her and had such a great time together. She was always interested in you as a person.

My life is indeed richer because we shared time together. As an educator myself, she was an excellent role model for me as I pursued a common...

Mrs. Bulman inspired us to do our best, offering sound life-long and life-changing advice in her classes.

We welcomed her when she attended our 40th or 45th class reunion (Sac Community High School, Class of 1959), and she made a point of asking us about our lives, reconnecting with many of us via email.

Mrs. Bulman was one of those rare teachers who devoted her life to ensure that her students would discover and develop their talents.

She was a terrific English teacher. We stayed in touch during her retirement years in Forrest City and also when she moved to your area. She loved to talk and I will miss her.
My deepest sympathy.

Ned...warmest greetings from the Winter family. We have some people in Forest City who keep us up on news from there. We send, from the Winter family, our thoughts, prayers and sympathy at this time. We will forward this information to Larry. We remember with fondness our association with your family. God's rich blessings for the days ahead. Ole and Naomi Winter

She was a wonderful teacher who taught me to use the words to, too and two correctly in a sentence. When I see improper word usage or tense, I always think of her. Through Barb and brother John K., I got to know more about my Great Grandmother who lived next door to the Hanson Family when they were growing up in Forest City. She passed away a decade before I was born and was just a name on the family tree, Barb brought her to life for me. Ned, you have my sympathies for your loss; I feel...

Sorry for your loss. She was one of the very best teacher in my life. SCHS
My deepest sympathy,
M. Elaine (Roose) Cook
