Barbara was my mentor when as a young inexperienced nurse, I was hired to set up the Pyschiatric Crisis Unit at Multnomah County Hospital. She and Gail Rankin were my mentors and heros! I wished over the years that I could contact them but did not know how. I am now saying, thank you, Barbara."

Barbara was a valued memberof St Aidan's Church for many years and is remembered by those who were in attendance at that time. She served on the vestry and was active in numerous ways. The world has lost a caring activist.
