Mom,
My, how time has pasted it's been 2 years since your passing and my heartaches to see, hear, and talk with you still. Everyone tells me in time, things will get better, so I'm trusting and believing and standing on God's word, that it will.
Miss you so much,
Love, Shelia

I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
I think of you in silence I often speak your name,
All I have is memories and pictures in a frame.

I met Barbara over 50 years ago. We worked together for many years at the Opportunity Board of Montgomery County where we shared many laughs and I witnessed Barbara's dedicated work to her community. Usually, at this time of year she would be busy gathering turkeys and finding ways to serve meals to those in need. Barbara was a kind, compassionate and loyal friend to me. For that I am deeply grateful to God. We shared many vacations and holidays as well as stories of motherhood and...

Thank you for all of the support, lessons, laughs and love. It's taken me days to write you this and it's still not right. I know you're with us each day more now than ever and I'm thankful for the strength you've passed through the generations. We'll need that, along with the numerous lessons you've taught, to get through this trying time. Thank you and I love you. Eternally grateful ~Marcus

Mother Barbara, you was more than just a mother-in-law to me. You was one of the most sweetest and giving person I have ever known. I thank you for the time we shared together, as a mother to me. You have accepted Portia and I as one of your children. There were times that we would talk on the phone for hours. You would never knowingly how much that meant to me. You will always have a special place in my heart ❤ and your delicious home made cheesecakes. Missing you always
