Barbara Anne Calhoun

I met Barb while attending church at United In Christ, and we quickly became good friends. Barb was an avid paper-crafter and we spent many, many hours together over a 5 year period sharing our love of that hobby. Barb was a very loving, welcoming, and warm-hearted person. She was always up to an adventure and trying out new and exciting things. I will never forget the time she came to me with a pair of shoes to "fix" up and "make shiny." If one feels the desire, my mother would prefer a charitable donation rather than a bouquet of flowers. So in lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations for the Ruth Ellis Center, a shelter for homeless LBGT youth.
