Barbara Carrington

Her name was Barbara Ann Beck when we met in the second grade. The family moved in two doors away from my house. Other names we called her were Babs, Becky Boo, "Ahoy Barbara Ann", but never Barbara. From the first grade through high school we were always friends except one year we had a dumb fight over something silly but after a year meeting up on the sidewalk one day we started laughing and forgot what the fight was all about. We are saddened to hear of passing. We loved visiting with her at family get togethers. I know everyone will miss her very much.

I only had the pleasure of knowing Barbara for 5 months, but it was long enough for her to leave a fond memory in my heart. She was kind, funny and lovable. I will miss our long talks and hearing stories from her younger years. I know you are in a restful place now so that makes my heart happy. You will never be forgotten my sweet Barb!
