Barbara, or Babs as she was known to many, was born in Portland, Oregon to Amby and Barbara Calcagno, July 12th, 1945. She was the eldest of four children and for most of her childhood lived, worked and played on the family farm overlooking Lake Road in Milwaukie, Oregon. Barbara enjoyed the...

Not sure what to say?

I met Barbara when I worked in Dr Rice's office & she would bring little Myles in for his allergy shot. After Dr. Rice retired our paths would cross occasionally. In the last few years we often would meet with a group at the Costco food court. Barbara was always pleasant to be around & I was always impressed with her care of Myles. He was very well behaved as a young boy & a gentleman as a man. She will be missed. May God comfort her family.

So very sorry to learn about Babs. She was a beautiful soul and I feel blessed to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with you Dick, Ron, & Myles.

Truly one of the nicest, caring woman we have ever known.

We had the opportunity to meet and enjoy her through exercise classes. Our son and Myles have become the best of friends and talk daily. We occasionally went to diner with their family. Barbara was always supportive and we enjoyed her greatly. Our family will miss her smile, talks, kindness, and warmth. We want comfort and peace for the entire family. We will miss her often. The Whitley Family

My sincerest sympathy to the Cereghino and Calcagno families. I will always remember Babs fondly. I first got to know her because she was involved in the Women's Bible study fellowship in the late seventies and early eighties with my mother, Mary. She was so kind and supportive to my mother while she was ill. Then there was a time when Babs and I shared the sadness of both of our mothers being ill at the same time. Babs was a comforting friend during that time. I will always remember her...

So very sorry to hear about Babs passing. My deepest sympathy to her husband, children and all who loved her.

Myles, I am so sorry for the loss of your mom. She was agreat person and loved you so much.
Noreen Telisman, former Milwaukie Elementary teacher

I knew Richard (Dick) Cereghino, Bab's husband, through my role for many years as a Solid Waste Management Consultant in the Metro area. While more of my contact was with Dick than Babs, it was clear during those contacts that she was a wonderful woman and a deeply loved wife and mother. My heart and prayers go out to Dick, her sons, and family. Dr. Estle Harlan

Babs was a hard worker who had a bright smile for everyone. She was a class act and a great credit to a long-time Milwaukie family. May she rest in God's bright light forever. Bob and Nancy Cereghino
