Not sure what to say?

To the family of Barb,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of your amazing: daughter, sister, wife, and mother! I was a classmate of Barb's at Lewis Palmer High School, in Monument. She was so kind-hearted and genuinely a gentle soul. I knew she was destined for great things in this life!

Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. May profound peace be yours.
Malinda Sloan (class of '77)

Our family is so very sad to hear about Barbara's passing. We enjoyed sharing the sidelines with her as we watched our daughters play soccer. She was so proud of her girls. We wish you all peace and gentle days as you all adjust to life without her here.
Mary Jo, Shawn, Mackenzie and Delaney McMillen

I first met Barbara when she graduated from high school. She was a scholar of mine and told me that see too passed forward scholarships to her extended family as a result of her appreciation of her scholarship. Barbara was so special and such a wonderful person. God Bless.

Hi Derick,
I want you to know my thoughts and prayers have been with you over the past few weeks. I was sad to hear of your great loss. Barbara was an amazing person and I enjoyed the time I got to work with her.

Hi Derek and Family,

We haven't seen you guys for years, but we had heard about Barb's cancer through the Dechet's. Michael taught Alison at the U, and we know that Kimberly worked with cancer research (I hope I have this right). Anyway, what a sad sad loss for you and your family, the medical community, and the patients and families of CF. I didn't know Barb well, but I know that she was fully committed to life in general. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all that knew Barb.

Hi Derek,
I was surprised and saddened to learn of Barbara's death when Betsy pointed me to her obituary. I can affirm what you wrote about her exceptional care of and advocacy for CF patients. I saw that first hand in the patients of mine that she cared for. I hope your warm memories of her will sustain you in the days and weeks ahead as you mourn your loss.

I don't know Barbara or your family, but wanted to share my condolences at her passing. I'm just a year younger, and am a breast cancer survivor. It's not a sorority any of us wanted to belong to. May you find peace and comfort in the coming days, months and years. May special occasions and holidays bring beautiful memories of your loved one.

Condolences to your family for your loss. By prayer, may the anxious care in your hearts be replaced with the peace of God that will guard your hearts in the days ahead

Derek and family, I was deeply saddened to learn of Barb's passing. She was an extraordinary woman. My thoughts and prayers are with you all,
