I was very sorry to hear that you lost your mom, your grandmother. She is in the foreground of some important memories from my childhood and beyond, and I know that she must have been an even greater presence in your lives. I have nothing but fond memories of Barbara. She was truly the neighborhood Mom and always welcomed me into 2106 Morrison with a big smile, iced tea, and pretzels. My sincere condolences to David; Melanie and the Lynch family of Rocky River, Ohio; Larry and the Chollet family of Nyack, N.Y. She was great.

My sincere condolences on your mom's passing. She was a great mom and a most interesting conversationalist. She was justifiably very proud of her children and grandchildren.I marveled at her work ethic and her long trec to the Eastside via rapid and bus for many years.
