Not sure what to say?

Barbara was a Joyful lady. She enjoyed making people laugh and be happy. She will be missed.

I have fond memories of Bobbie from my Baton Twirling classes back in 1954, when she gave lessons at Eddie Kane's Music Store. Her patience and personality led me to be a baton twirler in the Danbury High School Band back in 1961. A few years back, along with my sister Jean Fields, we visited Bobbie at her home in Brookfield. Little did I know that was the same young teacher I took lessons from in the 50s. I have fond memories of Barbara leading the Grassy Plain Drum Corps down Greenwood Ave. in the 1940's, twirling and throwing the baton into the air and somehow catching it without missing a beat. In spite of her fame as an outstanding twirler, she was also a kind, caring person who never lost sight of the friendships she made throughout her life, going all the way back to her parade days in Bethel.

Grandma, I'm going to miss you so much! You were always so special to me. I'll always carry you in my heart! See you soon Bobbie!

I am so sorry my condolences to the entire family she was the most heartwarming person I had the honor of knowing! Me she rip and the gates have opened for a true angel

My deepest sympathies to the entire family on their loss of this beloved woman. May we remember not just that she died but that she lived. And that her life gave us memories too beautiful to ever forget. Forever in our hearts.

Rest eternal Bobbie, a great lady who has left an indelible impression on everyone who had the good fortune to know and spend time with you.
