Not sure what to say?

I bought this in Leavenworth, (it is dated 1985) and today I thought I would search to find out more about the artist, and if possible let her know the joy I always have when I look upon it. I found this obituary and wanted to leave a note. I have always taken comfort when my loved ones are remembered, so I write this with a prayer for her soul, and ask God for continued blessings to her family.

Barbara (and Howard) were first our neighbors but then quickly became our friends. She was so helpful with gardening tips and nurseries to go to as well as sharing her metal works, paintings-in her gallery and entire entry and kitchen--walls & tiles. She shared that she had worked with dichroic glass, metal and needleworks-bead and ribbon in addition to her painting. She amazed me from day one with her talent, kindness, and never-ending celebration of life. Even after we moved, we'd come back...

Thank you everyone for all your kind words for my grandma.

My heart goes out to the family. Barbara and Howard were good friends of our entire family and will be missed, God Bless you all.

The Scott family

One of the best artists I have had the pleasure to be around. Many years of traveling art shows, classes and just being friends. So many awesome memories! You will be missed.

Barbara, you will be so missed by all of your friends in the needlework community

Barbara was not only a great artist but
also a wonderful, generous, encouraging, creative person in many
different mediums.
Loved her, Viola Unger

Barbara was a pleasure to take care of your family is wonderful thoughts and prayers to all her family and friends

Barbara was among the first group of artists who came together to start River Ridge Association of Fine Arts. She has not been a member for many years, but many of the group have crossed her path often over the years. I personally enjoy driving by her home to see the marvelous items she has on display. She was a wonderful creative artist. The art community has lost a valued member. May she paint the sky with beautiful colors as she moves above us.
