Not sure what to say?

Barbara and I met as classmates in the Class of 1942 at Barnard . Our paths crossed at various times and in various places throughout our lives and always with the greatest pleasure. She was a woman of principle and compassion, a giving friend, and a warm, vivacious personality. I am grateful to have shared her friendship. Doris Coster

Dear Paul,

I met your mother around 20 years ago when we both attended a Saturday alumni college function at Georgetown. She and I had a very interesting conversation. She was proud of you. I know the pain of loosing your mother and loosing your last parent. My sympathy to you and your family.

May your hearts not be troubled, the God of all comfort and compassion will see you through this time of sorrow, just ask him cause he cares about the troubled hearts.
Sandra of NYC

My deepest condolences for the loss of a great
Lady.

When we lose a loved one, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over all of you now. With my most sincere condolences.

Barbara Colby was a special friend of the family Conlon, from when she greeted our arrival at the Saigon airport summer 1960, through adventures there and the Washington DC area in later years.
She was remarkable and gracious.

On behalf of my mother, Jean R. Plunket, and our entire family, I'm writing to extend our deepest sympathy to all of Barbara's family; Barbara was a dear friend for many years, and will be greatly missed. We'll be keeping her and all of you in our prayers.
