Barbara G. Cornelius, age 96, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2019, at Hansen Cottage (St. John's Lutheran Ministries) in Billings, surrounded by her family and caregivers. It's been too many years since I took dance from your mom but I do remember her (& her teaching partner) as a great teacher and very sweet lady. It couldn't have been easy wrangling all those kids for the recitals. I also remember your piano prowess -- much better than mine. I send my sincerest condolences to you and your family. Keep the good memories.

The world has lost an amazing, beautiful and loving soul. My heart aches for you and your family. Barbara was not only my mother's best and closet friend, she was also a loving friend and mentor to me. I have such fond memories of her, from the time I started dance at five years old, until later, as a teenager, when I was her dance assistant. I have so many wonderful memories of her and her loving husband, Merle, and I cherish all of them.
