Our family has such fond memories of Barbara. I think of her every Christmas when I lay the tree skirt that she made with my daughters when teaching them to quilt. Barbara often drove to our house with her sewing machine in tow, patiently and lovingly instructing all 4 of the girls. I still quote her today, saying, "I work best on a deadline".
