My dear sweet friend I am so sorry that I have not kept in better communication with you. I know that you are in a wonderful place and all your pain and suffering is over.
I can just imagine you and my sister, Kitty, and the other HRH nurses having a good time talking and just enjoying catching up.
My thoughts to all your family and friends, they knew what a truly wonderful person you were and are missed a great deal. I often thought of you but my on-going laryngitis prevented me...

I am so sorry for your loss. My mother, Alberta Shuter Stevens and Barb met and became long life friends in nurses training and beyond. I had the privilege of Meeting Barb at the annual get together for Huron Road Alumni. She was a great women as most of those women from that class were.
