I think I met Barbara, once. I really appreciated Mr. Deck and enjoyed his direction as our band music instructor and director. Mr. and Mrs. Deck, Allen and Barbara, have been such good neighbors and examples of good stewardship in our community. I saw Mr. Deck conversing with acquaintances at Hillsboro Pharmacy and the fountain/lunch counter there. Barbara may have "been there" also, as I think I met her there. The Decks were so instrumental in our church as we grew up in Hillsboro. I´m glad they lived long lives and raised a fantastic family. Sarah was my classmate and I truly delighted in knowing her.
