Remembering Jean today.

What a lovely person to work with. Always a smile and heartfelt time whenever we met. Our spot on the planet will be poorer without her.

The Wright State University Retirees Association extends our condolences to the family of Jean Denney. We also wish to acknowledge her years of service to our University.

Jean was so helpful, kind, and compassionate to myself and others at WSU. She was especially helpful when I took the ODS "beat" for the school newspaper, and I interviewed her or used her quotes at least twice. I loved the daffodils on her desk, and it doesn't surprise me (though I never knew) that she liked to sing. Had I known, we'd have had even more in common than I thought.

The world needs more people with her compassion and kindness to work with those with disabilities, but...

I enjoyed every encounter over the years that I had with Jean! We were always able to share a laugh at life's absurdities! I will plant bulbs this week in her honor. Vicky Davidson (co-worker at Wright State University)

My prayers are with all of Jean's family and friends. I will always cherish all of the fond memories of our time together at Wright State.

RIP Jean. Wish there were "Do Overs" in life - but I know you lived your life every day to the fullest. You will be missed my friend! Condolences to the family!
