Not sure what to say?

The disability community and the population, you served has a great void. Rest friend.

Dear Barb, gone from our view, but not our thoughts and hearts. Your kindness and passion to make the world a better place have not been forgotten. You are missed....Kay Lipsitz

Barb was a God sent friend and care giver to my sister Yolanda. Her skills made life so much more bearable for Yolanda. She had such a positive impact on people with ABI. She will be greatly missed.

I was very fond of Barb, and very saddened to hear of her passing. It is not only a terrible loss for her family, but a sad one for the community she leaves behind. I am so blessed to be friends with her most wonderful and incredibly accomplished daughter: an actress, amazing singer, teacher, now studying to become a minister. Shaie is one of the most beautiful, loving, compassionate, talented people I have ever known. Is it any wonder? She takes after her amazing mom! We will miss her...

She will be truly missed. She was an amazing person . She was truly an asset for people with brain injuries. My husband suffered a severe brain injury and she was a very big help to me and for that I thank her. God bless you all your all in my thoughts and prayers

Barb was simply an amazing force of nature. Her passion for helping everyone impacted by a TBI was an inspiration. She was tenacious, knowledgeable, kind, caring, compassionate and thorough in every need she addressed and every challenge she took on. She did so much to further the awareness of brain injury needs and concerns, and to advocate from the political to the personal level. I feel privileged to have known her. I will miss her greatly.

I'm very grateful to have known Barb - with her tireless work for ABIN-PA; and her interest in my work (and how songs can help with people's struggles); and her interest in my own situation, as I believe she was genuinely interested in everyone she met. She was a wonderful person: kind, helpful, creative. I'm so sorry...

My prayers and deepest condolences for Barb's family. She helped me after my tbi. She let me know that I was not alone and that I had resources to rely on. She was intelligent and a real people person. I will miss her greatly.

Barb was the one who always helped, always offered hope and she never gave up. She helped so many people.

Barb made this a kinder world. I will miss her.
