Barbara was deeply loved by my mom and dad, and was an inspired my sisters and I through her unique approach to life,. She was a tremendously generous, strong, independent and loyal woman. Although she was in such discomfort from crippling arthritis, she made the trip east to see my dad in the last few months of his life. He knew how difficult that was and loved her all the more for it. I will always remember Barbara for her humour and warmth. We we very lucky to have had her in our lives.
