Not sure what to say?

Dear Faith and Steven,

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I got to know her and spend time with her through her participation on the Advisory Board for the Workers' Education Program, which is part of the Arnold M. Dubin Labor Education Center at UMass Dartmouth.

She cared very much about improving the lives of our adult learners and worked with us to improve our English for Speakers of Other Languages and GED classes. We could always count on...

I used to sit and talk with Barbara each June as she attended the Workers Education Program's graduation ceremony. She was so proud of the graduates. She loved the thought that the Center was giving a chance at a better life to hard working people. Very few people get to live a life of giving and she lived hers to the fullest.

God comforts those who are brokenhearted, and those enduring trials...He will sustain.

Barbara was a force of nature and I remember fondly my time at the Fairhaven Advocate in the early 80s. She pushed us to do our best always. She will never be forgotten.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Barbara was a great friend for many years at Bristol Community College and also after when she became involved in other professions. I have fond memories of Barbara, Arnold, Faith and Steve. I convey my condolences to Faith, Steve and their families. They should take comfort in knowing that she “lived” life, was a friend to many and had a positive impact on those who knew her.
Jerry M (a BCC colleague and friend)

Faith and Steve,
I was a witness to the great contributions your mother and father made to our community in the momentous years beginning in the 1960s. I was fortunate to have talked to your mother a little about those times before she moved to Oregon. I will never lose those memories. I send my most sincere condolences.

Heartbreaking news. Your mom always challenged me to think harder, do more. In fact, it was Barbara who pushed me to meet with Steven about a media sales in the eighties. After 20+ years at it, I have her to thank. May all the memories sustain you, make you laugh and smile.

All my love, Patti Kauffman

Faith,Steve and Family: I was saddened to hear of Dr. Dubin's passing. She was a role model and mentor to many. I have fond memories of her and Dr. Rachel Holland on the campus of BCC. I will treasure the many conversations we had before she left the area. She was a mentor and encouraged me in so many ways. Know that she made a difference in the community and in so many lives. She was so proud of her family. May you find comfort and peace in your treasured memories and may her soul rest in...
