Not sure what to say?

I always enjoyed Aunt Barbara's Christmas cookies. It was so nice to see her last year when we visited Chicago. I think of her often.

Herman, please accept my deepest condolences. Barbara and I worked on many village related projects in Oak Park, and I always admired her intelligence and wit.

She will be remembered in my prayers.

Herman we are so sorry to learn about our friend, Barbara. I am happy that I was able to see her just weeks ago when I saw the two of you when you arrived at Hemingway's Bistro for lunch.
We have wonderful memories or you and Barbara as our neighbors on Linden. I always enjoyed conversations with Barbara at our block parties and other times throughout the year when we'd see her on the block. Stop by and see us anytime, Herman.
Love and hugs,
Ellen and Michael Griffin

Dear Herman,
I contacted Barbara a few years ago while doing my geneaology. We were connected by the Glaser name and my Aunt Irene Brin was a friend of Libby Glaser Schaeffers, Barbara's Mom. Barbara was so kind and helpful. I was just online doing some research and read of her passing. I am sorry I never got to meet her, and sorry for your loss. I feel like I lost a family member.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your
time of grief. May your memories bring you
comfort.

So sorry to hear of Barb's passing. Henry and I enjoyed working with her for many years at Miles. Such a wonderful person...the world has lost one of it's finest.

Working with Barbara in the Tax-Aide Program in Oak Park was a pleasure. She was truly an indomitable spirit whose energy will be missed. My sincere condolences to Herman and the felines who shared their home.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Barbara was such an intelligent, warm and caring woman. We at the VMA and at the League of Women Voters will remember her service and support.

On behalf of the Board and staff of the Oak Park Residence Corporation, I express our deep regret. Barbara was a dedicated Board member and friend, we'll miss her greatly.
