Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Barbara's passing! My condolences to all of her family!
Almost all of my memories of her are of this strong lady with a beaming smile. She had this way about her that the light of Christ would just shine right through her.
To Guy and all the Edmistons (and all of Barbara's family), please know that you are in my prayers.

Guy - We were saddened to learn of Barbara's death when it was announced at Christ Lutheran on Sunday. Our deep sympathy to you and your family. We are living at the Masonic Village and have transferred to Christ Lutheran, so I've come home.

Guy,
I am sorry to hear of Barbara's death. I always thought of her as a determined, strong willed person, and the Grim Reaper would not have dared take her unless she was ready to go. Our working relationship was quite an adventure over the many years. I know her departure from your life, as that of Laura and David, must leave an emptiness, but you still have one another, and those grandchildren who were her pride and joy. Her death is felt sadly, by Ron, Karen and myself.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you grieve. May God's blessings and strength be with you.

Barb was a wonderful person, mentor and professional who dedicated her life to those with disabilities. I was fortunate to have worked for and with her over the years.

Bishop Emeritus Edmiston, so sorry to hear about Barbara's death. Know that you and yours are in our prayers and thoughts.

I am so disappointed I will be out of town for Barbara's funeral. She has done so much over her gifted life for folks who are often overlooked and misunderstood in our society and the families who are struggling to find the right help. She will be sorely missed by so many folks, not just by those who looked to her for help but all of us who knew her. What an advocate for decency and caring within our community

I worked with Barb at the ARC for several years. She was one of a kind, so unique and caring for everyone. Fly high with my son, Scott as I know he is protecting our angel's gone too soon. You will truly be missed by all but never forgotten for your work done here on earth. God Bless your family who will miss you dearly.
