Not sure what to say?

Dr. Eller, my 2nd grade teacher(HERBERT HOOVER 1971).. I lived Mtn Dale/white Hall..she understood my Gift..n love of Books n Intelligence, finding ways to teach those on their levels or skills! Always that warm welcoming smile every day..wasn´t actually a JOB to her...was her GIFT to GIVE BACK! I hope that I´ve done her proud! Gratitude forever!

I first became acquainted with Barbara when I accepted a second grade teaching position at Herbert Hoover ( now Thomas Holtzman ) Elementary School in Harrisburg, PA. I was new to the area and newly married. Barbara was one of my teaching partners, my classroom being next to hers. She was bright, efficient and very knowledgeable about Susquehanna Township School District, the community and the families we served. She mentored me that first year, making my adjustment smooth. Your honesty, humor, compassion, sensitivity, and love of all things family. Much love to all the Ellers. Mary and Charley

Dear Amy, my Mother, Ruth Stein and I met you and your Mom at Allegro. Your Mom and I both went to Penn State. I shared the Penn Stater magazines with her. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. You were very caring and devoted to your Mother's well-being. My heart goes out to you in sympathy and friendship. My Mom is still living at Allegro, and turns 91 on May 11 (is that also your Mom's birthday?) Roberta Glenn, 607 Luzon Avenue, Tampa. 813-503-8405. [email protected]

What an intelligent woman and a great teacher, respected by all who came in contact with her.Always caring and wanting to help others.A very warm place in my heart for her and her wonderful children, especially Pete and Amy whom I knew.My sympathy goes out to...

Barbara Eller has been a great friend of me and my wife Gail. When we moved to Harrisburg about 60 years ago her parents were one of the earliest friends we met, then her brothers who we played golf and tennis. I helped Barbara with a graph in her Doctorate work and we have been proud to call her Doctor.
