Not sure what to say?

I continue to remember Barbara often. Her warmth, her smile and the calm serenity she possessed. She carries a cherished place in the hearts and memories of all those whose paths she crossed. How I wish that today's world had more like her in it. She was and is one of the brightest stars in the sky.

Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine. Et lux perpetua luceat eis.
Fidelium animae, per misericordiam Dei, requiescant in pace. Amen.

Barb was a light that shined bright on this earth. Heaven has to be a brighter place because of her presence there.

My words to describe and define Barbara would have to include beautiful, caring and compassionate, gentle, presence, warm....I could go on for quite awhile. Barbara had a gift of making all who came in contact with feel as if they were the only ones she was talking to. I think of her often and miss the warmth of her smile and eyes that twinkled like stars. Randy, I hope that you and the children can take comfort in knowing that one day you will all be together again.
Peace.

It is difficult to grasp that Barb has been gone for these many years. I did not know her well unfortunately but loved her just the same. I never saw her without her beautiful smile and a twinkle in her eyes. I still think of her and remember her fondly. Randy, you and your children were so blessed to have had her as a wife and a mother. She was, and still is, a beautiful soul. I hope you, Sarah and Matthew are well and at peace.

I just read my VCU Connections Magazine and was so saddened to learn that Barb has gone to be with her Lord. We worked many hours on the Pediatric floor at Chippenham Hospital and I loved her very much. Many fond memories of a very special lady. May God bless you and your family.

Randy, I just read my VCU Connections Magazine and am saddened to learn thay Barbara was sick and has passed on. We graduated fron MCV together. I remember the happy times when you and Barabara were dating. If memory seves me correctly, Barbara was my dorm neighbor one of those years. Barbara was beautiful, intelligent, always kind and thoughtful.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Randy - My thoughts and prayers are with Sarah, Matt and you during this time of sorrow. Barbara was a wonderful and caring person - a real lady in all aspects.
