Not sure what to say?

Dear Marc, Matt and Mike,
I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I knew her in Atlanta as a neighbor and a friend. She was wonderful at both and, I know, a great mom to all of you. This world has lost a terrific, positive person - but not before she made many contributions toward making it a better place. May all the love she showered on you bring the three of you and your families even closer together. Wishing you peace,
Barbara McMaken

Dear Matt, Paige, Michael, and Marc:
I had the privilege of working for your mother while she was the principal at Holy Rosary. She was kind and was always so helpful to me. I am not surprised to read all of the wonderful comments about her - not surprised in the least. She will be terribly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Matt, Paige, Cole, Corrine, Michael & Marc.
You are in our thoughts and prayers at this sad time. We send you our love.

Barbara was my sister's best friend and I got to know her through my sister, Shearon. I ache for those who were close to her because I know from my sister's testimony that anyone who was close to her loved her. There are holes in many hearts today because of her home going. May all of you experience God's peace.

Dear Paige & Matt
I was so very sorry to hear about Barbara. I always enjoyed the conversations we used to have when she was Principal at Holy Rosary. She always made me laugh. She always had a smile on her face when she came to the CSO and we always would be laughing by the time Barbara left. I know our Precious Lord has her in His Loving Arms now. She was a wonderful person.
My love and prayers are with you.

To the Emanuel Family,
I was sad to hear about the sudden passing of Barbara. I have worked with her with NIE at Washington K-8 School and she was a very remarkable person. I could call her at any time and she never failed to return my calls and give me answers or help that I needed. I will miss her voice and her bubbling personality. Have peace in knowing she was loved and respected by many. May God bless you and comfort you during this time and the times to come.

Dear Mike, Matt, and Marc,

I was so shocked and saddened when Doug contacted me about your mothers sudden death. I loved your mother and my aunt very much, even though we had lost touch for so many years, when we finally met again, she gave me the biggest hug and smile you could ever imagine. We have been emailing ever since. She was a great lady, and I will miss her.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Barbara was a wonderful person with a wonderful spirit. She always had a smile on her face. She was a dear friend to my mother and I was lucky to have known her.
