When I first came to Huntsville back in the late 70s Barbara was the supervisor at Medical Center surgery department. I had applied for jobs all over town. But no one was hiring. Barbara came to the department store I was working out at the time , found me and asked me when I could come to work. I hated the department store so much that I said I’ll be there tomorrow. She was a great supervisor and mentor.
