Remembering Barb on this lovely Easter morning!

Miss Hemingway was my kindergarten teacher. I remember doing fun things in her class. One day she had a big roll of paper. She had us trace our bodies and decorate our outlines. I remember bringing her fresh cut lilacs. I didn't know she was allergic to them! I ended up giving them the the office lady. In forth grade, she subbed for my regular teacher one day. She told us about her travels. How she had visited almost every state in the United States. I hope she ended up visiting...

With sincere condolences Im saddened to find this completely by accident. She was a wonderful teacher and an inspiration to my children. With all 3 of my kids having her for kindergarten. My children are all grown now but i know they all have such fond memories of their time with her mentioning her often still. My thoughts and prayers to her family and friends. She definately made her mark on our lives

I am so glad that over the past decade or so I was able to renew my relationship with my Michigan family, including my wonderful cousin Barbara Jean, who I will miss greatly. Both of my sons are pursuing music careers, and Barbara was very supportive, even coming to Ohio a time or two for their recitals. Though she was taken from us way too soon, she lived a great full life, touching the lives of so many children via her teaching career, and enjoying a wonderful relationship with her husband,...

I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your dear love one.
There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone you love.

Barb touched so many lives through her teaching and travels. I remember her bringing her doxies to school now we have doxies of our own. She was so blessed and happy with her David and so loved her niece. She could go on and on about everything that she would do. I will miss Barb and sharing our joint experiences with past kindergarteners!!!

My sincere condolences to the Finger family, the world lost a great teacher.She was a wonderful person and teacher.
