Since, I have known your family all my life, I feel honored to have known your mother. She was a warm and loving lady. I especially remember the luncheon the ladies would have; their shared times through telephone conversation, and the pure joy of their laughter, as they remembered the good old days. Mr. & Mrs. Fontes have left both of you with the legacy of strong family ties, embodied with lots of love.

I will miss seeing aunt Barbara at the annual Chappaquiddick Wampanoag gathering this July and I will always remember the lovely times spent years ago when my parents Adele and Otis and so many others got together sharing food and fun. The fond memories of uncle Cookie and aunt Barbara wih her beautiful smile and personality will forever be in my heart. May God bless the family.

I offer my sympathy on the loss of your mother. I had the pleasure of working with Barbara and she was always cheerful and helpful. I am glad that she enjoyed 19 years of retirement. She will truly be missed.
