Barbara S. Frye

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Frye was my math and homeroom teacher in 5th grade. I have such fond memories of her--I had no taste for math, but she made it tolerable. I remember she called fractions that were big on top and small on the bottom, "Dolly Partons." What a lady.

Barbara always had a funny story to tell about her own girls or her students. She was a happy wife and mother. So many former students attribute their love of reading as adults to Mrs. Frye who instilled her love lf the written word to her students. You made a difference, Mrs. Frye.
