I am a volunteer at HFM it was a joy to work with Barb.

Barb was an example of kindness and love to all she met while at HFM. Always a welcome smile.

She is and will be missed by all.

Barb you will be missed by staff and volunteers here at HFM. Your years of dedication and hours you served at the front desk, gift shop and many other locations will forever be appreciated. Barb RIP, we love you and will remember you always.

Miss Funnell, as I will always remember her, taught both my boys in kindergarten at Jackson Elementary, she was quiet, kind and gentle in her approach to teaching. In later years I saw Barbara quite often as I worked at Holy Family where she so graciously greeted and helped visitors . She always remembered my son's names and asked how they were doing, that was so sweet. My heartfelt sympathy.

Rest in peace, Barbara. Your dear friend, Phyllis Clemenson, talked so often about your kind and creative ways in working with children in your kindergarten classes; she was happy to have been your principal, your mentor and your friend for many years. We thank you for your contributions to our educational system and to the community in your service to Holy Family Memorial Hospital as a volunteer of unbelievable dedication. When the weather was nice, the holidays arrived, weekends busy for...

Barb was a wonderful teacher and coworker at Riverview school. She was a great mentor, showing compassion and caring for everyone she came in contact with. Loved running into her at Holy Family where she always greeted you with a smile. She will be missed.

Best elementary teacher I ever had - 1975! She was very kind and clearly enjoyed her work. I also was blessed to visit with her several times at Holy Family. She will be missed.

So sorry to read of our loss. Her smile radiated kindness to all. Her presence will be missed at the HFM Information desk. She continued to teach by her generous gift......giving of herself.

Barb was a soft spoken lady to whom every one was a friend. She never spoke ill of anyone and her constant gracious demeanor were exemplary. She lived her faith and will be remembered fondly be all. Rest in peace dear friend.
