Not sure what to say?

Barbara Beckett Gaines, as she was known at PrimeTime Treasures in Homewood, always had beautiful items which were popular with the customers. She was a very talented lady.

Barbarann and I got to know each other through our love of pottery and cats back in 2000. I looked forward to seeing her every year at the Designer Craftsmen Show and will miss her terribly.

I got to know Barbarann through the Alabama Designer Craftsmen shows and her volunteering at the Symphony concerts. Always a delightful person.

I am so sorry to hear about BA´s death. She was a long time member of the craft guild in Alabama and taught me much about setting up a show. Sometimes I picked her up for evening meetings and she was always interested in what was happening. She wanted the best for all. I know she loved the times she worked at St Stephen´s as receptionist and with the card ministry. Her bright light will continue to shine for many of us who knew her.

I have enjoyed being Barbarann's friend through the Alabama Designer Craftsmen (now the Alabama Craft Guild) and as a fellow ceramic artist in Alabama. She was a strong woman who helped me tremendously getting the annual shows for the ADC reserved at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens when I was the Show Chair. I am very sad about her passing.
