I Barb and Bob in Laramie when we were going to graduate school. We skied and attended classes together. At one point Barb suggested I apply in Aspen to teach 2nd grade where I retired 22 years later Gartner´s family have remained friends since. They are a remarkable family and a pleasure to know and greatly missed

One of our most treasured memories was our time living in Rapid City. Barb was the first neighbor I met and we became good friends. The times we spent together are too many to mention, full of fun, laughter and Barb being Barb. We coached a girls softball team together, even though we knew little about the game.
