Not sure what to say?

I met Barbara through her daughter Kathy as we went to junior and senior high school together. She was one of my favorite people in the world. My own mother died when I was 11 and I remember that Barbara always made me feel loved. I will remember her fondly for the rest of my life.

My condolences for your loss. Wishing your family peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead, and loving memories to forever hold in your hands. May God continue to comfort you and your family. ( Psalms 9:9,10)

My Dearest Barb,

I don't know how much truer a friend a person could have in life. We shared so many special moments. You opened your heart and your home to me and I will never forget that as long as my heart still beats. I will always cherish your company.

You were a delightfully giving person, and always positive.

How can one describe the concept and totality of the feeling of being "at home"? What a wonderful feeling it was to always enjoy the effortless spontaneity in...

Mrs. Gegax was an incredible teacher and one of the kindest souls. She left a lasting imprint on all of her students through the love, compassion, and patience.

I feel blessed to have had her as my first grade teacher as does countless of her other students. She had a heart that nobody else could match and truly did treat every student as if they were her own child.

On behalf of all of her students, we love you Mrs. Gegax, thank you for everything. You will always be...

Mom, you truly made the world a better place. You brought so much love, joy, and appreciation to so many people. Thank you for teaching me about kindness and about caring for others. You always have been and always will be an inspiration to me. I know you are now in a place of bliss and I know someday we'll be together again. You're forever in my heart. With infinite love, Ellen

Grandmomma,

I am still at a loss for words. There are moments that, regardless of how brief, I forget that you're gone and everything is right in the world. Then I remember and it feels like a stab in my heart each time. I am so lucky to have had you in my life. I will always cherish the memories of you and I having coffee together or going on a road trip (as you know, the Grand Canyon was so magnificent to me when I saw it lol). The countless times that you tucked me in or that you...

When Barbara was working towards her teaching credential, she was my student teacher at Flying Hills School in El Cajon. She was a kind, loving and talented teacher. I remember our conversations and always enjoyed her interactions with our kindergarten students! My heart goes out to the family of Barbara.
Fondly, Jane Lee

Such a beautiful lady. She will be missed. Kathy, I am thinking of you and your whole family at this time.Love you all.

To Barbara's beloved family:

Words don't usually fail me, but I'll try to tell you briefly how her LIFE affected me and then when her life on earth ended, how lost I felt to think that she didn't wait for me to come by to visit one more time!!

She was always so positive about everything and some of it wore off on me. Now, if someone asks how I am, I am always "FINE"!!

Barbara, thank you for so much! Your friendship, your cooperation with any "schemes" at school, and your...
