Not sure what to say?

Very difficult to believe
the passing of Barbara and
Al. I saw them last when I`lived in Chicago nearly 15 years ago.

My thoughts are with their
family and friends.

If possible can someone send
me some photos of Barbara and Al.

They could be sent to me
online or to an address in
Alpharetta, GA thatI will
provide.

Thank you,
Richard Bracker

Our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. My parents lost such dear and wonderful friends. Dr. and Mrs. Gerbie brought laughter and joy to those around them. I thank them for leaving my parents with such wonderful memories and for bringing my siblings and me into this world. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sorrow. May your memories bring you comfort.

Toledo OH is my hometown. In fact, I introduced Al to Barbara there and a love affair developed.

I knew both Barbara and Al Gerbie in Toledo and when I moved to the Chicago area for awhile.

It's a sad time when folks pass--my understanding is that they had a life full of love.

It was always tough to think about Barbara's misfortune in an automobile accident.

If possible, I would like very much to see recent photos of Barbara and Al together and/or...

Both Barb and Al will always have a special place in my heart. I have wonderful memories of them both and will truly miss their smiling faces. I remember taking the train from Minneapolis to stay with them for a weekend after I went to a work seminar. They were two of the most generous and thoughtful people.
We are thinking of your family and hope it helps you to know that they are still together.

I am so very sad to hear about your parents. I still have a vivid memory of my parents running in to ”some old south siders” at the Americana Hotel in Miami back in 1969, and discovering I’d be going to the same camp as Gale and Ralph that summer. I have many fond memories of your parents, in particular from the camp reunion after-parties Your Mom was always warm and welcoming, and at times like a 2nd mother to me in high school. I can remember having long phone conversations with her,...

Our thoughts are with you and your
family. We are deeply sorry for
your loss.

"ONE MORE FOR AUNT BARBARA" is a common phrase when a picture is being taken. This is a tribute to you and how you were always in our thoughts. You never missed a birthday, a special occassion or just a call or card to say hello and let us know that you and Uncle Al were thinking of us.

You were and will always be in our thoughts as a loving Aunt to each of the Klein's.

Thank you for the memories and the times together.

Our thoughts are with the entire family at this time. We have many fond memories of "Little" Al and Barbara at family gatherings. Love to all, Cousin Jeffrey Cohen
