Although I haven't seen Barbara in many years I can remember vividly her laugh and smile and genuine love for her family. She was always kind to me and always put life in proper perspective. She made the world a better place.

Barbara's extraordinary kindness was so profound because it was true and heartfelt. I will never forget how she treated my children when they were very small. It was so loving-- the few times we were together with Margaret and Joe sustained me through some dark times.

I will forever be grateful for her total, unconditional, non-judgmental acceptance of my family. She has left this world with a legacy of love most of us can only hope to achieve.

Barbara will always hold a special place in our hearts. She was encouraging and cheerful and had kind words for us. We haven't seen her in oh so many years, but when we used to live in the area, and our kids were young, we had the privilege of being in her company. May she rest in peace.
