Not sure what to say?

I was a student at Amphi when your Mom was a DECA teacher at CDO. We even went to the National Conference in Los Angeles together and that is where I really got to know her. She was a fun lady always full of spunk and laughter. My life as a teenager and later as an adult was made better by knowing her. When I attended her service, it was obvious that she will be missed by many.

Barbara was devoted to her son and his family and her church and her teaching.......the makings of a very good life and she loved to have fun and so was very good company. I will miss her.

Dear Michael and Family,

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. She was my typing and business teacher 35 years ago at Amphi! What a lady she was! She is one of those memorable people that touch your life and you never forget. She was a kind, caring and loving teacher and always ranked at the top as a favorite. A friend and I took her out to lunch when we graduated in 1971 to thank her for all she did.
I will never forget her.

Your mom and I worked together at Canyon del Oro High School for several years when I was just starting out in teaching. Barb was a woman of kindness, warmth and a great sense of humor. I once sought her advice about basting a turkey by using a needle to inject butter into it--she quickly volunteered the use of one of her insulin needles. She had a great laugh when I reported back that melted butter wouldn't fit through the needle. Barb was a dear woman, and I will remember her fondly. My...

Michael and Family,

I am truly saddened by the passing of your mother. As many others who have signed this guestbook, I also knew your mother through Arizona DECA. She was wonderful woman, always so kind and willing to lend a hand. Every time I saw her, I was greeted with a big smile and a hug. I know that she is in a better place, but this place will not be the same without her.
"God bless you Barb, you truly will be missed"

To Michael and family,

I was very sorry to hear about your mom. Please know that Barb inspired a lot of people to be the best that they could be. I have known your mother for over 20 years and in that time she would always greet people with open arms and a big smile. She was a great lady and one that will be deeply missed. I unfortunately will be unable to attend the celebration of your mom, but you and your family will be in my prayers. God bless and take care.

Michael and family,

I am sorry to hear of your mother's passing. You are in my prayers. Barb was definitely a blessing to anyone she came into contact with. When I first started working with Arizona DECA, she was one of the first Marketing Teachers/DECA Advisors there for me. She has touched so many lives, including mine, and I will never forget all the inspiration she provided me with! My life has definitely been blessed by knowing your Mom! Thank you for everything Barb! I...

Dear Mike and family,
We have known your mother for 36 years. Emily worked with Barb at Flowing Wells Schools. We have continued our friendship and it grew through our mutual love of First United Methodist Church. We will miss our good friend Barb.
God bless you and your family.
Bill and Emily Kallal

What a wonderful, talented, and funny person she was. She and I shared experiences and laughs over many years at DECA conferences, and Arizona Marketing Educators meetings. Despite health problems, she never complained and continued to live life to the fullest. I shall deeply miss her and our exchange of e-mails back and forth. She was a dear and favorite friend and was taken from us far too soon.
