Not sure what to say?

My first contact with Barbara was in the early 70s and she was always one of my heroes. I haven't had contact for many years but always thought of her with affection. She was a pioneer in the recovery community.

My sincere condolences. Find comfort in the God who is close to the brokenhearted.

I am so sorry. Barb was a wonderful friend and neighbor. I did not find out about the service until afterwards or I would have been there

Barbara had open arms,a warm smile and tons of wisdom. I believe she was an administrator at Olympic Center-Bellingham where I worked and witnessed the work she did with co-dependents as well as those in treatment - I know she was a great help to me and many, many more. Bless her. May all the good memories and changed lives through her be comfort to her loved ones. With love, Carolee Massey

We were neighbors for years and our children adored her: she was fun and caring. Her son " Joey" was glued at the hip to our son and where you found one you found the other. They were usually accompanied by Barbara's collie, Chipper!

It has been wonderful to have her return to our lives since she joined Chuck and me at the Willows.

We will ALL miss her.

Marian Olson

Barbara became my Grandma when I was 13 after marrying my Grandad. She was tough but sweet, always spoiling the kids and taking the extra time to teach what was important. She made me my favorite meals when I would come over for dinner and never needed a reason to hug and kiss me just like I was her own. She knew how to fish, could tow a boat, clean a fish, and cook them even better. Best of all she was so good to my Grandad and he loved her so much. I will miss her dearly. Thanks Grandma!

I'm so sorry to hear of your loved and deepest condolences are extended to you. Something that's helped me through the death of loved ones is to reflect on 1 Corinthians 15:26.
