I was disheartened to learn of the passing of Barbara Griffith-Wilson. I have known her for over 8 years in her role of community advocate. We have sat on community committees together and her passion for ending homelessness and ensuring resources be available for those who are disadvantaged in our community is always strong! I Thank God that he allowed our paths to cross from our Days at The United Way of Genesee County back in the 90's .As Barbs role as a UAW Liaison she Championed the United Way's cause during the Campaign Season, and afterwards as well. I enjoyed having Bible discussions with Mrs. Griffith-Wilson, she was a spiritual woman with a great deal of faith despite her illness (2 These 3:2). My prayers are with the family. Valerie Walker
