Barbara A. Grissom

As an adjunct training coordinator at the S&W Academy I had the pleasure to work with extraordinary lady for many years. She was always professional, caring and friendly putting a smile on your face everyday. She could run the daily demands of the Academy single handedly due to her years of experience. Our deepest condolences to the family.

Barbara and I worked together for over 16 years where she served as both an administrative assistant and program coordinator to the Director. Throughout that entire period Barbara exhibited the best qualities of both positions, enhancing the registration and student supporting requirements as well as being a valued and trust worthy assistant to the Director. I attended her retirement event in Springfield years ago and although separated by time and distance her memory stands clear in my mind....

I worked Barbara for 11 years at S&W Academy. I will miss her but hold memories of working with her dear. My deepest condolences to to family. Tom Aveni

Our hearts are broken at the loss of Mom. However we are glad she is no longer suffering. Thank you all for visiting this site and sharing kind words and memories. Life won´t be the same without Mom, but we feel comforted knowing that she lives on in the hearts of many.
