Such a terrible shock. I had been trying to reach her by phone recently with no answer. We had no idea until today.
What a kind and caring friend Barb was to so many. May she rest in God’s love and in the arm’s of her beloved Tom.

My sincerest condolences to Barbara’s family at this time. I considered Barb as a mentor while a student nurse at Lutheran Hospital and the early years of my nursing career there. Her standards were the highest and the patients were her priority; she always had time to answer questions and provide advice when approached with concerns.
