She was an inspired Christian of deep and strong faith, fearless of defeat, open to challenges of righting wrongs, effervescent warmth and positive spirit--- a gift to my life and history. I shall miss her living presence and friendship more than anyone could know. I loved her as a sister. And grateful for the gift of her.

Barb was the Director of Christian Education at Bethany Lutheran church. As a member of Luther League I became very close to her and was heartbroken when she moved away. I remember that some of the boys thought it would be funny to pick up her Volkswagen and move it which they proceeded to do. I have thought of her often and find it interesting that I was able to find her today the day of her memorial service. I certainly have many loving memories of her. RIP Barb in your heavenly home.
