Barbara Jane Harkins

Barbara and I were cousins through the Tritt family. I believe both of our grandparents were Tritts. I had a lovely conversation with her offline, as she filled me in on the current state of Suches. It had only recently occurred to me to look Suches up on FB and there was her well done FB page. I delighted following her for over a year. I will miss her posts so much!! I can’t help wondering what happened. She seemed so healthy. Sincere condolences to her dear ones!!

So very sorry to hear of cousin Barbara's passing. We were hoping to visit with her again on our next trip to Suches. We so enjoyed her Facebook posts and LOVED the pictures. The family is in our thoughts and prayers.

My brothers and I knew you and your family growing up in Suches and were delighted when you retired to Suches and started the FB account, Suches News.
You did an amazing job, combining your knowledge of the area and writing ability.
An invaluable service to the community, done with competence and integrity. It must have been exhausting! We’ll miss you so much.

We enjoyed following Suches news with Barbara. We hope someone will continue her mission of enlightening everyone of the Suches area. Sure wish we could have met her she was a joy!
