Not sure what to say?

Barbara and I taught at Kiser Junior High School and shared laughter and the daily anecdotes that are so much a part of teachers' lives. She was a special part of the faculty and of my own life.

Barbara has been a special person in our lives for a long time. What a wonderful human being! We are richer for having known her. Our deepest sympathy to all the family. Ginger and Dan Jones

Even though we were unable to attend Barbara's funeral, several local members of the Clayton High School class of 1963 and spouses celebrated her life on Wednesday, June 2, 2010, by having lunch at Jones Cafe in Clayton, NC, her hometown. We had a vase of roses that were distributed among the class members present. Memories of our time at CHS with Barbara were shared. Much of the conversation centered around how smart she was and how many people she helped get through school.

Hard to put into words but I will miss her very much. She was certainly one of a kind, beautiful inside and out.
We sure enjoyed our Bridge games and had great times. Wonderful memories!

Jennifer, thanks for letting know about your Momma. We are still in shock and are so saddened by her passing. We are praying for you all and love you! The Watson Family

"Mrs. Norris" was my math teacher in the 7th grade at Kiser back in the dark ages(late '70s). She was a tough teacher, but fair. She shared her knowledge of math, and she let us watch the ACC when the games came on during our class period. Thanks for sharing your Mom. You will be in thoughts and prayers.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.
