My sincerest sympathies go to Barbara's loved ones. I worked with Barbara at Abington with Miss Judy. I was the speech teacher who worked in Miss Judy's class. She was a gift from God whom she so loved and served throughout her life. I will keep you in my prayers.

May you find your strength in God during your time of sorrow.

May God grant his peace and comfort during this time. Your family have been a part of our family for years and the bond will last forever. Even though my mom cannot be here for the services you are definitely in her prayers. We loved Mrs. Barbara (as we called her) and will miss her dearly. But we trust in God because He knows all and is all.

May God comfort you at this time of sorrow...I have known your mom,grandmother for years.. I am a member from Bethlehem Baptist Church... Mrs. Hawkins would always smile and ask how my family was doing and ask how I was doing? She was very pleasant...May she rest in peace.. It was very upsetting to learn of her death...
