I was saddened to hear the news about Barb. She was the consummate professional who cared deeply for the health and wellbeing of her students. She was a valued peer who would go out of her way to support her fellow nurses. She will be greatly missed as a peer and friend

Aunt Barb had that rare quality of being able to disengage from ego and appearances and focus on what is truly important. At family gatherings, she was usually the quiet one who took everything in and when she did speak, it was because she had something to say - usually a question for someone else. We would all do well to seek the kind of deep spirituality she exuded, with a foundation of humility and life of service.

Peaceful Reflections

Memories a legacy of the love Barb leaves for each. Barb was a very kind, gentle caring individual and nurse. My parents thought the world of Barb.

Barb attended SVCH for Nursg and was a friend of my S-I-L, Liz Leroy Smith. Jim was a friend of my husband Tom through the Emerald Civic Society.Met Barb and Jim at PIB maybe 1980. They had a boat and offered to take us for a ride to Pelee Island. We had 3 youngsters and they had, I think 4. They had enough life jackets! It was a great time and wonderful memory! Your Mother was a wonderful nurse!!!!! Molly Smith Sammon

RIP Love your niece Sheila
