Barbara S. Hendricks CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 19, 2010, Barbara Ann Seabrook Hendricks, widow of John Frank Hendricks, Sr. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Barbara S. Hendricks are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening between 6:00 and 8:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Hwy. Mrs. Hendricks was born in Charleston, a daughter of Harold Joseph and Mildred France Seabrook on Tuesday, October 1, 1935. She was a graduate of Bishop England High School and attended the College of Charleston. Our mother dedicated her life to her family. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love and unending support. We will continue to pass on her selfless devotion and lessons to others. She has reunited with her true love of fifty-two years, our father, John Frank Hendricks, Sr. Surviving are three children, Ronald Joseph Hendricks and his wife, Sandy, John F. Hendricks, Jr. and his wife, Susie and Rhonda Hendricks Reeves; eight grandchildren, Cassandra, Seth, Hope, Elizabeth, Hunter, John, Jordan and Jason; three sisters, Sandra S. Richter, Joyce S. Corbett and Linda Seabrook. The family requests memorial donations be made to Blessed Sacrament Church, Building Fund, 5 St. Teresa Dr., Charleston, SC 29407. or to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Rd.
