My deepest condolences to the Hendricks family. I remember Barbara as a tireless educator who held all students to the highest standards and did it with grace and style. I learned so much from her as a brand new teacher in 1986 at Hawthorne Traditional Jr. High School, and will be forever grateful for her guidance.

I have known you and Mrs Hendricks since I was a teenager. You and Mrs. Hendricks have always been nice to my family. Peace be with you and your family!

Mrs. Hendricks was a wonderful lady. I first met her when I was a teenager. She arrived at South Tryon Presbyterian Church in the 1960s as First Lady with her husband Rev. Dr. Hendricks. She always had a smile on her face. I never heard her complain. She was an outstanding role model for a Christian woman.

Our family extends our deepest condolences to The Hendricks Family. We pray that you find peace and strength as God comforts you.

Mrs. Hendricks is on of those educators that you never forget!! She was my junior high school assistant principal. I appreciate who she was and the difference she made. Her presence definitely made a difference.
