Not sure what to say?

Jackie, Thinking of you and your mom today. Her impact lives on in those she touched. Our daughter graduated with her PHD in biomedical engineering from UVA and is working to make a difference for others.

Still think of you every day, Barbara. You were a friend first, a boss later. Still have your picture hung over my desk in front of me. TWLC is still going strong, now on three continents in 4 time zones! I know you would have taken to Zoom lessons like a duck to water. I like to think of you looking down on us all and smiling, surrounded by new students and tons of books and paperwork. Rest in power.

Jackie, I think of your mom every day. I have carried on her business and her picture hangs above my desk. I make sure all my new students know of her and how she founded Today's World Learning Center. I hope you and your husband are doing well. Your mom will never be forgotten in this corner of the world.

Still miss you, Barbara, and think of you and Jackie often. Carrying on the torch! #TWLC

Dear Jackie and family,
Please accept our deepest sympathies. My husband and I knew your mom from Ethicon, and then we were not in touch for many years. My daughter Alyssa and I met up with her again as she and you spearheaded many events to encourage girls in math and science. The experience Alyssa had at the SWE event at Princeton particularly inspired her. She is now a junior at Bucknell University majoring in BioMedical Engineering. Your mom touched so many lives, and she will...

We are so sorry to hear the sad news. Barbara tutored our daughter for three years. She was an amazing teacher, extremely passionate about her work. My daughter and her friends who knew Barbara are shocked and sad. We will truly miss her...

I am so sorry for your loss. I had the honor of Barbara tutoring my son, as well as working with her myself. We have fond memories of the Sunday drive there for his weekly lesson and ofcourse a walk with the dogs. We will truly miss her. Barbara had such a passion for what she did, a natural born teacher. She had great influence and was an inspiration to so many of her students. May she rest in peace & God Bless. We will miss her

I had the great privilege of working with Barbara this past year and got to know her as a friend, educator and a woman of great spirit and keen vision. Her best qualities live on in her daughter and she will live on in our hearts and the hearts and minds of her students for many years to come. I will miss her dearly and am so grateful to have shared these past months with her at TWLC.
